Hi, I’m Paul McShane
Freelance writer and aspiring author based in Australia. I’m also a surfer (longboarder) but can’t claim my proficiency reflects the number of years I’ve been doing it, though I do have my moments.
Happy to be writing the next chapter in the final third of my life. That includes a book, a good one I hope, among other projects that you might find interesting.
Most recently, I’ve been selected from more than 500 applicants as the only Australian contestant for “Write Or Flight” – a reality TV pilot show featuring nine writers that is being produced in 2025 in the ancient Inca capital of Cusco, Peru. We are competing for a publishing contract, US$10k advance and editorial coaching and development worth US$15k.
